Brutal Attack in Balochistan: 23 Lives Cut Short in Targeted Shooting
In a tragic incident on Monday morning, 23 people from Punjab were killed in a terrorist attack in Musakhel district, Balochistan, Pakistan. According to reports, the terrorists forced passengers off their bus after checking their identities and then opened fire on them. The assailants also set fire to ten vehicles and blocked the inter-provincial highway in Rarasham, Musakhel.
The victims’ bodies have been transported to a local hospital by the police. The attack has not yet been claimed by any group. Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti condemned the attack and extended condolences to the victims’ families. Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar denounced the terrorists’ actions, vowing that those responsible will face justice.
Punjab government spokesperson Azma Bukhari expressed her outrage over the violence. This attack mirrors a similar one from April, where nine passengers were also targeted and executed after being forced off a bus in a neighboring area.
